I just couldn't do it - Kai almost made me hurl my precious e-reader into the wall in frustration. Who the fuck talks like that in their head? He sounded like an stoned imbecile and I just couldn't take it any more. He kept on referring to his boyfriend as "the little dude" and "the little guy" instead of just using, you know ACTUAL PRONOUNS like HIM. It was making me a little insane on the inside.
I got about half-way and that was it for me. There might have been fantastic character growth but the narrative just prevented me from enjoying it.
