Less focus on homicide investigations, please....
This is mostly a note to self on crime-related romance...
I really like romance and relationships in most forms. I tend to also really like hot police men/detectives, snipers, soldiers etc, or kick-ass heroines. I do not mind a crime/mystery being part of a book, but it has to take second seat to the characters and their personal lives - I tend to see that part of the plot as noise coming between me and my interesting people. Which is sometimes a problem when I also like my hot police men, yeah?
I liked Tony and Mac, and I will read more books featuring them, but at the same time there was a touch too much police stuff going on and I was a bit yeah, yeah, I know who dunnit cause I'm not an idiot, let's move on to more interesting stuff. So I liked it for the MCs but I didn't like it all that much for the crime-plot...
Great potential for future books with these MCs, hoping for less focus on homicide investigations in the future :-)
