I like stuff with romantic elements and angst, usually YA, fantasy, paranormal/urban fantasy or variations thereof. Usually wrinkles nose at sci-fi due to unlikely tech. Straight girl who likes boys that like boys!
Well, these were a rambling mess. After the first one I thought weeeellll, that was almost in the land of had-potential-but-turned-to-meh. I was not overly impressed by the writing or the editing or the cohesiveness of the story. I did feel mildly interested in what would happen though, and I was also in a "I can't make my mind up on what to read so I will read trash while I wait for Mercy Thompson 8" mood. And so I picked up the second for reasons that are not all that sound.
Wish I hadn't. Oh well. Moving on.
